Construction Update
ON SCHEDULE AND ON-BUDGET

When middle school students return to the classroom, they’re going to get a look into the schools’ future as the new Concord Middle School rises nearby.
​
The project’s general contractor, CTA Construction Managers, began site work in early June.
​
The Concord Middle School Building Committee met July 20 to discuss ongoing construction activities, budget and cash flow with the project’s professional team, including the general contractor, CTA Construction Managers, and the Owners’ Project Management firm, Hill International.
​
The project remains within budget for the progress made to date and the cash flow is within forecasted levels. Construction is on schedule. Key activities underway include foundation work, installing temporary trailers and power and creating construction entrances on Old Marlboro Road. Looking forward, the main site activities will continue to be excavation of the building footprint and the installation of concrete foundations.
